Elizabeth Ellison is an innovator and leader driven by passion and principle. Never one to place limits on herself, she has founded multiple organizations and helped them to achieve excellence.

While she presently enjoys her position as President and CEO of the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation, for more than a decade, Ellison has been instrumental in LTFF achieving its mission goals of education, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. 

While she has demonstrated strength in management, it is her passion for community that has held the wheel throughout her career. Ellison has worked in both the government and private sectors, and developed a strong understanding of how important organization and community action are in moving projects forward.

Ellison proudly founded Oklahoma’s first food hall, Mother Road Market in 2018. She also founded Kitchen 66 in 2016, and is a founding partner in 36 Degrees North and a founding board member of Vest.

Kitchen 66 and Mother Road Market have changed the dynamic of the Oklahoma economy through innovative business planning and resource development for start-ups in the food industry. 36 Degrees North brings Tulsa’s entrepreneurial community together with high-quality resources and workspaces to build the businesses of tomorrow. Vest is focused on promoting female leadership through the creation of a network of impactful women focused on supporting and elevating each other. 

The common thread in each of these organizations is Ellison’s dedication to people. She approaches her work with one foot in the business world and the other firmly in the humanitarian realm.

Her experience in politics gave her stronger insight into the needs of the community and how to address them. Law School showed her that her true passion lies with advocacy. Her desire to stand in the corner of people going through difficult times placed her on the path of Defense Attorney — until she realized she could channel that energy for greater community good.

Ellison’s efforts have made a notable difference in the world around her. She has been recognized as one of Oklahoma’s 40 under 40 and has received several awards for her support of small business and entrepreneurial projects.

As a leader and business professional, she not only climbs her own ladder to success but paves the way for others to do the same. She believes in the importance of diversity of both culture and ideas, and works to bring unique voices to the table in the discussion of what the future will bring.

Currently, Ellison splits her time between Tulsa and San Francisco, and maintains a deep appreciation for both. She is an active outdoorswoman and marathon runner, and enjoys spending time at her family’s home in Sonoma.
